We use your data to provide and improve the "CareKeepr Services," "Service," or "Site" which means any websites, applications or other services under the control of CareKeepr. Unless otherwise defined in this Privacy Policy, terms used in this Privacy Policy have the same meanings as in our Terms Of Service, accessible from www.CareKeepr.com.

Our Service may contain links to other third party sites that are not operated by us; such as but not limited to, social networks, marketing and advertising partners connected to the Service. If you click on a third party link, you will be directed to that third party’s site. We strongly advise you to review the Privacy Policy of every site you visit. We have no control over and assume no responsibility for the content, privacy policies or practices of any third party sites or services. We do allow users to connect with their email service provider.

Children’s Privacy

The Site and CareKeepr Services are intended solely for persons who are age 18 years of age or older. Any access to or use of the CareKeepr Services by anyone under age 18 is expressly prohibited. By accessing or using the CareKeepr Services you represent and warrant that you are 18 years of age or older. 

Changes To This Privacy Policy

We may update our Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy on this page. We will let you know via email and/or a notice on our Service and update the “effective date” at the top of this Privacy Policy. You are advised to review this Privacy Policy periodically for any changes. Changes to this Privacy Policy are effective when they are posted on this page. By continuing to utilize the Services after any such changes are posted, you will agree and consent to any such changes.

Closing Account

If you choose to close your account you may do so by accessing your Account page from your account to delete your account. After you delete your account, you will not be able to sign in or access any of your information. However, you can open a new account at any time. If you delete your CareKeepr account, we have no obligation to retain your information and may delete any or all of your account information without liability. Information may be moved out of our active databases or may still be retained in our systems to reinstate your membership with our services at your request, prevent fraud, troubleshoot problems, assist with any investigations, enforce our Terms of Use and/or comply with legal requirements.

You acknowledge that if you have provided or shared information to third party users, retention of that information will be subject to those third parties policies and practices as described in these Terms.

CONTROLS FOR DO-NOT-TRACK FEATURES

Most web browsers and some mobile operating systems and mobile applications include a Do-Not- Track (“DNT”) feature or setting you can activate to signal your privacy preference not to have data about your online browsing activities monitored and collected. No uniform technology standard for recognizing and implementing DNT signals has been finalized. As such, we do not currently respond to DNT browser signals or any other mechanism that automatically communicates your choice not to be tracked online. If a standard for online tracking is adopted that we must follow in the future, we will inform you about that practice in a revised version of this Privacy Policy.

DO CALIFORNIA RESIDENTS HAVE SPECIFIC PRIVACY RIGHTS?

In Short: Yes, if you are a resident of California, you are granted specific rights regarding access to your personal information.

California Civil Code Section 1798.83, also known as the “Shine The Light” law, permits our users who are California residents to request and obtain from us, once a year and free of charge, information about categories of personal information (if any) we disclosed to third parties for direct marketing purposes and the names and addresses of all third parties with which we shared personal information in the immediately preceding calendar year.
